Peace Pathways SEL Program

The Peace Pathways SEL Program supports children and youth ages 3–17 in developing emotional, social, behavioral, and academic skills in a safe, supervised and structured environment that supports consistent and positive development. Participants improve focus, strengthen behavior, and build the skills needed to succeed in school and everyday life.

Program Structure & Approach

The program promotes positive behavior and helps prevent violence through emotional awareness, communication, and healthy relationships.

It is delivered in a safe, supervised, and trauma-informed environment that supports consistent and positive development. Participants receive guidance and support based on their individual developmental and behavioral needs.

The program operates on a continuous, year-round basis to support ongoing development and consistency.

What We Focus On

Our program targets key areas of development that directly impact children’s behavior, learning, and daily interactions. Each area is addressed through structured activities and consistent support designed to help children grow and succeed.

🧒 Positive behavior and self-management
👧 Social skills and peer interaction
🧑 Communication and decision-making
📚 Academic focus and learning support

Program Activities

Participants engage in structured, hands-on activities designed to promote emotional development and positive behavior. Activities include painting, art projects, cooking experiences, and storytelling, along with guided group discussions, role-playing, and interactive exercises that encourage communication, problem-solving, and peer interaction. Consistent routines help reinforce participation and engagement in a supportive environment.

Program Impact

Participation in the program leads to improved emotional regulation, better behavior, and stronger social interaction. Students demonstrate increased focus, improved ability to follow instructions, and greater engagement in learning. Over time, participants build confidence, strengthen coordination and motor skills, and develop the abilities needed to succeed academically and in everyday life. These outcomes contribute to the prevention of violence through healthy behaviors, emotional awareness, and positive social interactions.
